Folder for 6'8" guy?
Is there such a thing?
A very tall friend is impressed with my Swift & wants a folder for riding from the subway to his boat & supplement to his road bike. He'd prefer to spend no more than $800.
Thanx for any leads.

Bikes: 2 - 2007 Custom Bike Fridays, 2 - 2009 Bike Friday Pocket 8's, Gravity 29'er SS, 2 - 8-spd Windsor City Bikes, 1973 Raleigh 20 & a 1964 Schwinn Tiger
Likely a "tall" order for $800.
Bike Friday had made them for someone that height, possibly Swift, too. Given how the Swift folds it wouldn't be too compact for storing on his boat.
ADD: My Dahon S1 with a Thudbuster seat post is at it's highest setting and still just a bit short. (I'm 6'3" with a 36" inseam). My custom made Bike Friday NWT is perfect and the seat can be raised an inch or two more if someone wanted, but it is NOT an $800 solution.

Thanx for the replies; I'll be passing them along. I think I'll send him to Bfold on 13th St. as well (they sell Brompton etc), the BikeFriday website & to the Metro chain, since they sell Dahons.
He has a custom Landshark road bike, so his $800 price limit may get a bit elastic once he sees Fridays, Bromptons etc.
I'm also going to email Peter to see if a Swift could accommodate him, though I remember seeing a 6'4" upper height limit either on the Swift or Xootr sites.
giskard- the Dahon is certainly within his price; are you running the Dahon extra-long seatpost or the regular one (I'm a mere 6'2" & had the extra-long on my old Dahon)? Do you have any space before the minimum insertion line?
Rootes- Do _you_ have any space before the minimum insertion line?
