ANYONE Have or Hear of ....

a "Tank Micro 16" Folding bike? The bike is a 16" wheel folding bike, has non-adjustable flat handlebars welded to a folding "gooseneck", and is a single speed. The rims are aluminum alloy, steel frame, 3 piece crank, total weight is under 30 pounds.

The brand name is "Tank"

I'd post a picture, but my digital camera is AWOL in Florida, when it should be in Idaho.

It appears to be a good quality bike, it is even tight when unfolded.

Any info you can provide would be much appreciated.

I was first in the market for a folding bike around 5 years ago. At my Local Bike Shop, I spotted a few folders in various colors that were Mircros single speeds. I remember not being too impressed with them-even coming complete with a soft bag. I went on to order my single speed Dahon Boardwalk for around 50 dollars more. It was and is a far better bike than those Mircros. I still have it. And I did went on and purchased more folding bikes-making sure I bought each for it's uses and durability, rather than concentrating on price.

Tank Micro 16

Hi. I just purchased a TANK MICRO 16 at an estate sale. Absolute MINT condition. Seems to be a sturdy, well-made bike but I truly can find no information about it on the Internet. Very odd.
I see you've had yours for a couple years and was wondering what you've learned about the history of a TANK folding bicycle. I know it was made in China but that's about it. Does anyone know when they were made, how long they were sold, approximate price when new?

I could find nothing on line either. As far as price new, I have no idea. I bought mine on eBay for $99.00 including shipping. I think I got a good deal. Paid the same for my Tote Cycle, another bike that is almost impossible to find info on any place other than here.
