Distributing Folding Bikes

Hi,

I am interested in becoming a distributor for folding bikes. Do you know how I can begin research, or what steps I need to take to find reliable whole sellers? Has anyone had experience with this? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Depends what you mean. Usually, distributor and wholesaler mean the same thing - someone who sells on to shops/online stores, and they then sell to the end user. If you mean you want to sell them, doing it online only is very very hard; most brands want to protect the bike shops by only working through outlets who have at least a trade counter, or better a storefront. I work as a sort of marketing agent with Downtube in the UK, but the sales go direct to them, and they ship the bikes - they wouldn't work with me as simply an internet dealer.
