I checked on the Brompton site but cannot find this info. I'd be grateful to have the dimensions of the Brompton M-type "gull-wing" handlebar.

Is it 25.4mm diameter at the clamp?
What is the length of handle area for grip + shifter (before it dips down)?
Rise?
Overall width tip to tip?

Hi,

yes the m-bar is 25.4 mm diameter at the clamp and 22 mm on the grip area.
Length of grip area is rather short ~ 130 mm before the bending starts.
Rise overall is about 135 mm, center to center and upsweep (~3°) of straight bar included
slight backsweep, I estimate about 6°-8° degree
length tip to tip ~ 515mm
