acquired a peugeot....major question

so somehow a friend gave me a vintage looking peugeot folding bike. i am trying to restore it (well, just get it working again, etc...) and sell it. an owner of a bike shop said i could probably get 300-400 for it, but he didnt have any more info on it all. i was just wondering where i could find research on the make and model, cause i have looked up and down the web. does anyone have any idea where i could find more info on it?

also----there is a small sticker on the underside of the frame that says made in italy---i thought this bike was french. i know that canada started manufacturing and distributing the bikes by probike---but italy as well?

help!

Always best to post a photo or two, that's the best way to get help & find out what you have got hold of !

There is also a vintage Peugeot enthusiasts site at:-

Bikes: lots... even a Raleigh twenty !!!

Be aware that these bikes came with 22 inch wheels NOT 20 inch (451 or 406).
...in Oz, anyway.
