I already have one in the works to pickup tomorrow. The BF was just too much bike for my needs. I will sell the Halfway if and when I get the bike tomorrow.

With our Black Friday purchase of a second Pocket 8 for use in Vancouver, we now have FIVE folders (See below.)

Also, we now have THREE regular bikes with the inexpensive, U.S.A. made, Huffy 10-speed I found in the weeds across the street last weekend. It's rusty but rideable.

Actually, if we had more $ the wife would like to collect some of the older folders out there. If interest rates get above 1% (like maybe the normal 5% +), maybe we can justify having some fun doing just that.

Just an R20 and Moulton F-series 4 spd.

But then there are the full size bikes.

I have two great ones: Downtube Mini 16 and Dahon Ciao P8.

Expecting a Dahon Classic III next week which I just bought on ebay. Hopefully it's condition is as good as the seller stated. The pictures made it look like good buy for little $$.

Hmmm, thread was started back in May '09. At that time I had a grand total of two folders, now I have 5 All are C&V

The current collection contains:
  • 1966 Columbia Commuter III (not a true folder but comes apart for storage)
  • 1968 Raleigh Compact RSW
  • 1971 Raleigh Twenty
  • 1972 Raleigh Twenty
  • 199? Dahon? Rolling Rock Promo Bike 26" MTB

I keep looking at the Dahon Speed TR but can't quite justify pulling the trigger on that one. I still want a compact fold bike for Amtrak and airline travel. Brompton and BF are the leading contenders for that.

Since this was last written I traded the Peugeot and a Gitane tandem for a non folding dark blue vintage dutch Gelderland. But made up for it by getting a black 6sp Brompton M and another Raleigh 20...
