Wider tire question
I want to change some weather checked 20" X 1.75" tires with slightly wider tires, say 1.95" or 2.1" or whatever is available. There is plenty of frame and fender clearance. Will a regular bmx type tire work? Can i re-use my 1.75" tube? A search of the forum did not answer this - thanks in advance.

I assume that is an ERTO 44-406 size. You might want to check that on the tire itself. If so, then, yes a BMX tire will fit, they also use 406mm wheels. The Schwalbe Big Apple is a favourite for wide tires.

I can recommend the Big Apple tires. BMX tires would work too, but most are not rolling as nicely as the BA. The tube should accommodate, no change needed.
