I can tell you why it did not succeed. The folder was too high geared!

Bikes: 2011 BMC Race Machine / 2012 BMC Road Machine / Trek 2300 / '90's Merlin/ '70's Raleigh 20/ Ti-'swift' folder / Erickson w/S&S couplers

In the 1920's the NY to Chicago train took 3hrs less time too.... and it was actually on time more often than it is now..
