Bikes: Brompton - Surly Cross Check - Birdy Red

Harris Cyclery (Sheldon Brown)

I thought many of you might be interested in taking a quick look at Harris Cyclery as it was the home of the famous Sheldon Brown. I was in the general area on business and took a side trip. They had a very good selection of Brompton bikes as well as Rivendell. Unfortunately no Moultons in stock but one was in route to them from England.

Last time I was in there (3-ish years ago...?), they had a BF Tikit, too.

The owner told me they stopped selling the BF as most of their customers choose Brompton after trying both. Didn't seem to be an opinion on value but just on what sold better.

Haha tell that to one or 2 Bike Friday fanboys on this forum lol!

Brilliant!

To be honest I love both bikes and would love a Tikit too if I had the luxury of owning 3 folders.

I suspect the Brommies are being used on the T in Boston and from what I gather the Brommie has a tighter fold than the Tikit.
