Cheap source for tires

Petra cycles appears to have the cheapest prices on Schwalbe tires by a significant margin (wire bead Kojaks for $16!). Has anyone ordered tires from them? Are their shipping charges extreme from the U.K.? Is there a 6 week waiting period for items to arrive?

What are other cheap alternatives?

Don't screw around with Petra. I've generally found Calhoun Cycle to be excellent. Strongly recommended.

Yup, thats the way of the world..retail margin includes shipping to the store ,
then the product is handed to you .
buy where they have to ship, from a retail seller , that goes on top of the retail margin

I just use Nashbar coupon codes and watch for special deals, no brainer.

Also, every now and then have had some luck with the bike shop outdoor trash can.
