Tektro FL750 flat bar calliper brake lever - minimal styling

These look nice to me and are only 117grams per pair. I figure they'd sit nicely on a Brompton and given the narrow bracket free up space on the M bar. I think I could fit a twist shifter with these, just about.

Anyone here got them?

Stock Brompton lever has the cable pointed downward
to help function better in the fold,
a straighter, shorter. cable run
and has enough lever travel to work with a lot of pad to rim clearance.

but knock your self out .. show the kit when you're done changing stuff.
its a reproduction of older Mafac straight, tourist bar levers,
the floating cable anchor at least won't contribute to breaks in cables
like fitting an interrupter lever in the end of the cable location.

Bikes direct take note :

The M type lever only had a 10 degree downwards angle though on the 2011 models they've used the 30 degree levers across the range.

That has No downward angle, you going add a Vbrake noodle to help that,?
get the ones with a barrel adjuster .

you can cut down grips to make room for a gripshift.

I doubt the angle matters, people often change brake levers for Shimano BL-R550s or BMX levers. But a portion of a noodle is a good idea.

These are pretty nice! What size/type of brake cable would I need with these?

Those look like the levers on my 1941 Schwinn World. I guess what was old is new again. Roger

I've been eyeing these levers for a while, for the reasons you noted. The challenge isn't fitting them on a Brompton, it's finding somewhere to buy them. Harris Cyclery sells an all-silver version, but I would prefer the black and silver ones, which appear to be "out of stock" everywhere. Darn hipsters bought 'em all. :-)

Anyhow, I am swapping out a pair of drops and just wanted to know if these cables would fit. https://www.amazon.com/Jagwire-Bicycl...8243011&sr=8-3

not sure about how many millimeters I need for housing.
