Protecting rear derailleur from damage....after the fold
Some bikes when folded leave the rear derailleur exposed to bumps/accidental drops. If that bike has a replaceable derailleur hanger, you are OK....if not, you may have to buy a whole new frame or pay $$ to a welder. My Montague Paratrooper does NOT have replaceable hanger (1st gen 'Trooper) so im looking for ways to protect the RDH with bash guards....im wondering if anyone has considered this option? Did it work out?
