Child seat for Dahon?

I posted this over at the moribund Dahon forum and the only answer I got was from a troll. Perhaps someone here can help me.

I envy Brompton owners because they can purchase a nifty seat like this one for carrying children. Is there such an item on the market that would work on a Dahon?

Thanks.

dude, i can't believe you called the Brakemeister a troll!

while there may not be a specific seat built by dahon for children to ride up front, here is a link that may offer some manufacturers that might be able to fit your Dahon.

Note: the links are about mid-way down the page.

I used a Blackburn copilot along with a Blackburn rack. I had to lengthen the front stay of the rack, but it was fairly simple.

I think the Pletscher Althlete 4B rack for 20" bikes and the Pletscher EasyFix child seat might be an option. See: https://www.thorusa.com/dahon/accessories/pletscher.htm
You will enjoy doing business with a troll --- er, I mean Thor.

troll here ....
its funny if you dont agree with folks and have your own opinion .... especially if they already know their answer and your answer doesnt match

although I sell the Pletscher 20 inch carrier and the Pletscher child seat ..I do NOT recommend that combination for folding bikes.
Everytime you compromise the limited space and or control .... its unsafe ....
get a trailer and put kid into the trailer... thats what works well with smaller wheel bikes...

I stand corrected.

What about the Pletscher rack and child seat on 24" or 26" folders?
