Finally I have a folder!
Yep. It's true. After a long time I finally meat with a "local" (100 km away) dealer in September - October. Since it was a garage store he didn't have to many bikes around to try. But atleast I got my hands on all bikes from R&M (Birdy), Dahon and Brompton. 20" Dahons were way to large for my needs although it was fun rides (Speed TR and Mu Uno). The Birdy was the best ride, but the most expensive and not a very tidy fold. The Brompton was something else. I enjoyed the ride, not as active and fun maybe as Dahon, but nice. So I went home and thought about what to do. Buy a Dahon Curve (untried) from another dealer or pay up the high price of a Brompton.
A few weeks later I came back and tried the Brompton once more. It was a good ride, and a nice fold. Relatively easy to carry plus easy to roll when folded. I had made my choice. A Brompton it is. A few more weeks of figureing out equipment and so on (believe choosing color was the hardest part). 15 th of October I sent my order, which was confirmed on 17 th. Then there was a LONG waiting time. On the 23 th of December (the day before Christmas in Sweden... we always celebrate the "eves") the dealer came to me and left of a brand new Brompton M6L.
Below is a picture, not a very good one but the bike is a thing of beauty:
And thanks everyone for tips and advices!
