I'm using a China-made Magicshine-wannabe. Claimed at 1800 lumens. Can't confirm this but IT IS VERY BRIGHT! I just hope that the beam is better (more diffused).

Don't have a brompton, but I have a Niteride 600 that I bought at REI on sale for $109. Great light and I would recommend it to everyone. In fact, I would never want to ride at night again without a strong light (or during the day with a flashing bright light).
I'll probably buy a Magolite XL50 or something similar to mount to my helmet (with zip ties). Definitely not as great, but I'd like a helmet light without coughing up another $100. I am concerned about what it may due for helmet safety though.

their package combo with the hub dynamo is Shimano-halogen/or Schmidt-LED,
so the lower cost wheelset , and an LED upgrade headlight is a good combination.
the wired in steady on taillight, can be augmented
with A battery one on the top of the seatpost..
Not much room under the front bag, when used, for anything but a wired headlight..
I had a Cat Eye TL500 on the rear rack of my older Mk2 T Brompton.
They fitted a Bottle dynamo to those , I substituted the reflector.
which required fitting the L rack roller wheel on the outside of the rack.
so the lower cost wheelset , and an LED upgrade headlight is a good combination.

Shimano hub dynamo with a B&M IQ Cyo. Bright!!!! And always ready, I love having dynamo lights and am in the process of adding them to all my (most frequently ridden) bikes.

I don't have a Brompton, but for generator powered lights I primarily use the B&M Cyo, Fly or Lyte.

Cateye cube on my Mezzos. Recommended light by atb. Should work on brompton rack also. I also combine this with clear rollerblade wheels on the rear rack. They spread the red light dramatically improving saftey. Best wheels are red cored, but clear ones

LUMOTEC IQ Cyo plus off a Son hub. Superb light as it actually illuminates the road in front of me too and not just excellent visibility.
Selectra plus on the rear.
