Where are saxophones made ?

Saxony.

Saxophone joke: What is the difference between a saxophone and a trampoline? You take your shoes off to jump on a trampoline.

Campagnolo moved a lot of production to Romania, obviously an old part of their empire,
(Rome, not Campag)

There are close similarities between italian and romanian languages, dont know if it was part of the roman empire, but there was certainly cultural cross over.

I destroyed the twistgrip shifter on the the Downtube IXFS I had, now wise to the wily ways of 'Everything 8-Speed' Shimano and their inconsideration of my two 7 speed bikes, I'm stockpiling 7 speed drivetrain parts for the First EuroHon out of Nowhere City.

Can I find 7 speed SRAM MRX Comp shifters on Ebay? Nope. Some scoundrel is stockpiling them already. Who is it? Hmmm?

Oh! Wiggle has them. I is saved.

That's the literal translation, dude. We're all liberal art-school hipsters on here. Old Bulgarian proverb: never post old Romanian proverbs on the internet.

My favourite literary depressive is French writer Gerard de Nerval, who wrote 'Ignorance cannot be learned' which I was going to use, but the unchallenged metaphor of 'road' and 'ditch' is apt for the Folding Forum.

I'm right there with you Thor. (Maybe it's just our laid back Midwestern Illinois attitudes?)

....however, this all has opened my eyes to some of the politics that affect the folding bike industry and for whatever reason, I'm finding this thread strangely entertaining.

Seeing as this is a cycling forum and we are supposed to stay on topic, can I take it this is a silent plea for Dahon to design and market a handlebar attachment to enable house trained lobsters to be taken on short pootles ?

Am I the only person who thinks that lobsters are the most disgusting creatures in the universe? UGH! I can't even stand to walk past the lobster tank at the grocery store. Just thinking about people eating those things ... OMG ... Sorry for going off-topic. (If I had known my quotation inquiry would lead to talk of lobsters, I wouldn't have!!)

On a bike-related note (to ensure that my post isn't zapped): Just received a package from the Brakemeister with my new Big Apple tires, which I don't think were made in Bulgaria.

Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and has something fun and safe planned for New Years Eve.

Hasn't stopped raining since I got the danged bike. I found a pair of 20" Kojaks in my highly equipped precision workshop (shed) and whacked them on for a trial swim yesterday. When ya got more than one set of tyres you're constantly in a state of indecision. Which to fit?

What was that evil contraption that Dahon introduced which would charge up an eye-phone as you cycled?

Biologic. Waiting for a charger unit to arrive for my sons newish Dahon produced bike. https://www.skladacikola.com/Chranic-...o-Kit,453.html

MUP? Multi-user path?

The UK has been so damp this year, we're fitting scuba tanks to the bikes.

Nice rack!

yes, I like that one, been eying it for some time. I have put a Brompton luggageblock on my steel 20" bikes this year. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ompton+luggage

Had plans to start on the alu bikes this year but now I am in doubt. I like the Dahon luggagetruss becouse it is alu and also it is "lifting" the bags more up but still holding them close to the bike. Only last night I told my BF that I want to find out if that rack could hold a hard box since the bottom bend looks "curved" but that picture should answer my question. I may go for this rack on the alu bikes.

Need to make a converter or two to solve the "Idontwant20differentbags" problem. https://www.flickr.com/photos/2798242...n/photostream/

The new BulgaHon has the threaded holes for a front rack, and I was, for a moment, tempted - to split an infinitive.

and noticing the effect a filthy fuselage has on flight performance.

Exactely. Not something I want in a plane. Used to drive around in the middle of nowhere in Zambia in the 80`s in a diesel Nissan w no lights. Tools on my lap when driving at night, and cleaning diesel filter and bleeding the beast to make it run for another 2-3 hrs.

The van we used to IKEA died in my frontyard tonight. Left it to think about its bad behavior until tomorrow, then we`ll see..

N.B. Rack appears to be the 'Kanga' Rack from Tern. Needs the Dahon/Tern Luggage Truss.

Yes, but it can be atatched to a clickfix adapter also. I was told some time back the Dahon luggage truss and the similar clickfix system can not be used with each other but they have maybe made some changes since then. One of the big mysterys of the world. Anybody out there that can tell us?

Old Zambian proverb: Burnt child smell bad.
