^^ I don't have a TV. Has G.d.N made it onto the mass meeja?

Bicycle content: Nil. Vile rain storms batter Snafu Towers.

All you need is iPlayer, no need for the idiot's lantern in the corner.

snafu21 12-31-12 08:36 AM

^^^^ Aha! I have it now. A TV program, apparently hosted by Jabba The Hut.

Only the most nerdy would give much of a toss whether their disraliums were badged Dahon or SR Suntour, yet, there are surprises buried under the chain stays of this Mk1 Bulgarian Dahon.

Certainly, the Dahon Vitesse looks very good when carefully accessorised.

That is at least a 20 year old Dahon.

generally low wages feed the bosses not the workers..
at least if the business is owned by the workers they have a better chance of being better fed.

and war and prisons. and stealing your pension, before you get any.
then turning the above back at you if you don't accept your Fate.

Apple and oranges. The Chinese government oppressed it's people long before globalization. Same was true for Generalissimo Franco.[h=1][/h]

The question is: Why do we turn a blind eye to what is happening and allow corporations to import products they've made abroad in order to avoid paying a living wage and to skirt safety standards and environmental laws? Any attempt to rein this in brings howls of protest from those who insist we must "let the free market" work.

The question is: why do people that don't create jobs feels that the others that do owe them something. Feel free to create jobs and pay to your workers as much as you want.

well.. i fear those babes are poseurs, not bicyklists.

actually, this summer I bought a nylonish "handbag" at a flea marked and stitched on short straps w buckles https://www.radicaldesign.nl/en/prod...terial/buckles . worked great for a long time. Bag is looking a bit "chewed" at this point. Used it a lot and is now looking for another bag to modify. As long as the bag is smallish it works. Can be clicked onto any bike in no time, no adaptors or stuff needed.

I like the clickfix system (and all types of gadgets) but did not buy much yet. Need to find systems that work with several bikes without costing the equivalent of several bikes..

Because there would be no profits without the labour provided by workers. In a civilised society, employers must pay a living wage. Feel free to exploit elsewhere, but don't try to import products made by workers who are little more than slaves.
