When the carrymeobscuris is unable to camaflogue itself and is confronted or startled it will open up and stand sideways in an attempt to make itself appear larger... if this display is successful the carrymeobscuris will then dart away

and as a last resort, the carrymeobscuris has been known to seek the protection of larger members of the bicycle kingdom.

Here's my Swift yesterday on the MCT trail in Madison county, Illinois:

A few miles down the trail the weather cleared briefly:

Some neat looking clouds in the distance. Wish I had my good camera instead of my cellphones.

Here's my Mercier Nano minivelo last winter somewhere on the MCT:

That is a cool looking bike, cme314! Is it new or a revitalized bike? So old-school looking, I love it! Hi to Mississauga, btw! I went to U of T.

Thank you! The bike new to me; I got it in May and didn't need to repair anything. All I did was pump up the tires, add the baskets and the bell :-) The person I bought it from didn't do any repairs either; he thinks the rims might have been replaced at some point as they look new-ish, but everything else is as it was. So much fun to ride!

I went to UofT as well! St. George campus

Took my Brompton on my latest trip. The compact fold
helped in different travelling situations; plane, bus, car.

I was going back and forth in my head deciding which version to use.
The same singer made an English version that's good. The Spanish one
is also nice. But in the end, I decided to use the original Japanese version.

Hey there hamh! I haven't seen you post on here or TheChainlink in a while. ChiTown weather is great for riding these days. I'm usually on my yellow Birdy bike during typical commuter hours in the Loop, usually on the Dearborn bike lane. If you see a guy on a yellow Birdy bike, it's probably me... say hello if you see me around Chicago!

Wakely!! Good to see you here... I didn't know you were a member! Just in case you're wondering I'm Jens... I worked as a mechanic on Saturdays during the summer for Jackie at his Frankfurt St. shop. I saw on Bardstown Road Bicycle Co's FB page that you bought a Brommie... congrats. I just went there a few days ago to order one too.

Two photos from our Bornholm trip. My Brompton in the sand at Dueodde https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dueodde

I bet I am going to regret laying it in the sand, getting sand in the drivetrain..

My Brompton enjoying the beach

Another one (just before the dark) taken on top of the stone part of Rytterknægten https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rytterkn%C3%A6gten

My Brompton enjoying the wiew.

No idea why I decided to carry it up there but I am sure I lost a kilo or two doing it..

What happened to your pedals? Are they a quick release type?

How did I miss this post until now? I'm a sucker for churches and graveyards so the next time I revisit Scotland I'll need to check this church out.
