Bikes: '99 Trek 520, '20 Kona Sutra (FOR SALE 48cm), '21 Simon-Bikes mini-velo and a chromoly-framed folding bicycle with drop-bars and V-brakes, that rolls even while folded.

So yeah, nothing beats chromoly for folding bicycle frames/forks, short of going titanium. The Dahon Speed lives on in the Fnhon Storm. Which is a better deal anyway, since you can buy just the frameset and configure it yourself with better components than what Dahon was making you buy. After I bought my Speed, I immediately upgraded at least 50-percent of the components. The only stock parts that I use are the frame/fork, brakes, tires, seatpost, seatpost clamp, rear derailleur and front wheel.
