Hooligan or Sirrus which is a keeper?

I think I will give up riding on the main roads and stick to side streets and bike paths. I don't trust these cars out there. It was a nice Sunday and no traffic and still had drivers screw with me too close.
I have a Honda CBR500 for that kind of stuff. One twist of the throttle and blow past any annoying car.
So I am considering selling the Sirrus Ltd. Is the Hooligan much superior to the Sirrus for my intended purposes. I should have the Hooligan by April 5th I think.
