.02p : It looks like, lacking a latch*, gravity is all that holds the Bag on. bouncing off in bumps test done?

* Brompton Front Carrier Latch Mk 2 - QFCLAT - £2.38

I suspect the CarryMe was never meant to run over anything more troubling than hairline cracks in the pavement, as any significant blemishes on the path will likely throw the rider off first before the bag (I kid ).

I would actually be considering buying one if I didn't already have 2 bikes lined up in my sights.

Its just a DIY project. More for the bling-bling factor.

it's not good to have weight on your steering, and I wouldn't have any on my bikes.

The weight are still on the steering and with 16 inch wheels any potholing with too much weight or Bouncing, your going over headfirst. Get a side mounting messenger bag, and the weight yo the back where it's safe.

That's your Opinion ..alone.. , I found My Brompton Thrives with weight in the front bag for many years ..

My Bike Friday Has a front Pannier rack on the front Wheel fork , Its fine too.

NB: the bag shown is a Mini Ortlieb, its just a Handlebar Bag , not carrying Bowling Balls ..

That is the beauty of Brompton front bag system, the load is on the frame instead of steering handlebar (Klickfix?) Only if they have better front racks or bags with more reasonable price.
