Forums not loading automatically from links in emails from subscribed threads

Hi,

Hope my subject is clear. The reason I'm writing is that this behavior started a week or so ago and wasn't a problem before that.

1. I'm paid subscriber.

2. If I log in to BF directly from my browser, using LastPass (great password manager, BTW), I'm automatically logged in without any further action and without any ads loading.

3. I'm subscribed to various forums and threads and when I get an email notifying me of new posts and containing a link to those posts, clicking on the supplied link will take me directly to the right spot....BUT.....ads load first and then I have to jump to the top of the page and log in--well, I just have to click on the password box and then LastPass takes over and logs me in.

4. What's puzzling me is that up until a week or so ago, I was automatically logged in from those email links. No ads, no need to "manually" log in.

Has something changed at BF.net? Any ideas about what HAS changed? It's a minor annoyance, to be sure, but I'd MUCH rather be able to click and end up at the post I want AND be logged in.

TIA for any help.

STP

I've kicked this upstairs. Hopefully one of the Techies will check into it soon.

Have you tried clearing your cookies and then logging in again?

Not yet...it hasn't bothered me enough, yet. But may give it a try. I hate losing my cookies (ha, ha)--I have a LOT of them that are very useful in my business--bookkeeping and logging into many, many sites a day on behalf of clients.

Thanks for responding.
