Ads blocking part of thread texts
I am pretty well versed in technology but have an issue that I cannot resolve. I subscribe to 4 cycle-related forums and receive a digest of each one daily as an email message. When I click on some threads to read the postings in that thread, sometimes the pop-up ad will block out a portion of the right hand side of my iPad screen so that I cannot see the right-most portion of all the postings. For other threads, the pop-up ad appears, but it and the postings remain separated, so that I can read the entire text of each posting.
This only seems to happen on my iPad, not on my Windows PC or Android phone, and it only occurs on some threads, not all of them. I have lived with this for some time without finding sn answer. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response but it did not answer my question which focused solely on why ads behave differently in some threads than others.
