How about a "test" forum?
It would be nice to have some kind of test forum (a "sandbox") where people could post to try features without having to do it "live", so to speak.
The test forum should have post counting turned off, and be cleared of all posts regularly (once every few days). If possible, it should also be impossible to reply to any posts in such a forum, to prevent silly threads.
