How is it that you can figure out how to do emoticons like that one but can't figure out how to get photos on here?

When you view the photo on photobucket there will be a bunch of urls in the lower right corner. One of them will say above it "IMG code-forums and bulletin boards". Copy that url and paste it here. It should start and end with [IMG].

Could it be that easy?

Thanks.

...and your crank is in the wrong position too. Is this a Litespeed Vortex?

You click "Reply" ... then scroll down to where it says, "Manage Attachments", and then you select your <100 kb photo off one of your drives, which will come in nice and neatly like a thumbnail, which will allow those of us who have slow computers to see it. :)

I'll work on it.
A little tech-challenged, obviously.
Thanks.

I would ride up that.

On topic,
What TheJackMove said. Use the bulletin board\forum code that is provided. I see you got one up. Congrats! :)

Machka, If you are posting pictures of a bicycle and you want people to actually see it, attachments are NOT the way to do it. 100 KB or smaller pictures just can't cut it. With so many free photo posting sites that allow you to post High Resolution pictures there is no need to use that attachment feature for photos, for a lot of other things it's OK, but just not pictures.

Now I do recall that you live in the wild wild unexplored North, so you are restricted to very low bandwidth, in those cases PhotoBucket has a feature you would like. Photobucket will automagically generate the BB code to display a clickable thumbnail of your high res picture so that bandwidth is preserved for the unwashed masses.

Example:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...h_SG1S1739.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...h_SG1S1740.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...h_SG1S1709.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...h_SG1S1718.jpg

Click on any of the above pictures and you will wait, and wait, and wait then finally a high resolution picture will appear. Others in more civilized nations with newly rebuilt post WW2 communications infrastructure will not wait as long.

I hope you are having a wonderful day :)

Post the picture as an attachment. Click on the thumbnail to bring up full sized images. Right click on the image and select "copy image address". Edit post and post url into the post.

1. Click reply
2. Scroll down and click "Manage Attachments"
3. Browse to find your <100 kb photo (which is still high enough resolution to be quite large and to be seen)
4. Click Upload
5. Wait a moment, then Close Window

When it comes up it will be a little photo, and if a person wants a closer look, a person can click on the thumbnail and a LARGE photo (too large to fit in the screen) will appear ... right away ... within a second or two.

Simple and easy. :) Also nice and neat. :) :)
