i can't post images
 

I've tried to make a new thread and post some images but discovered i can't. They are JPG 640x480 with less than 100 KB in size.

Welcome to bikeforums.net; a splendid place full of interesting people and lots of great information. I tried to post a picture earlier today and found the same as you, so it's encouraging to find I'm not alone; I thought it was just a spot of PC indigestion at my end, but it seems to be at the BF end.

What I do is, first, upload the images to a web imagehosting site - I use Photobucket.com. Then I just copy the "img" link from there into my thread where I want the image to show up:

The above picture's link is:

"[IMG] http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...rly_LHT001.jpg [/IMG]"

The <space> after the first [IMG] and before the last [/IMG] is not really there, but I had to put them in so that the link would show up as text.
