A thread is converted to sticky by a mod. If the thread grows into something of timeless value, it
may be turned sticky. I don't think any thread starts as sticky with the original post.

Unless it's a Mod/Admin who is making the original post with the intention of it being a sticky.

When you start a discussion, sticky or not, be sure to select a thread title that both accurately describes the content, and also grabs attention.

If you wish to start a thread that you think is worthy of a sticky, contact one of the moderators. (Now that I reread the thread like I should have the first time - Its monday give me a break) - sending a pm to either Lotek or myself would be the best bet. HOWEVER, C&V right now has a lot of sticky threads right now. Lotek and I have been discussing combining and reducing them recently and it is fairly unlikely that we will be adding any new sticky threads till after that is done.
