Search term too short... wait, what?

The following errors occurred with your search

1. The search term you specified (colobikelaw*) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.

If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.
2. The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search:
colobikelaw*
I think this is an incorrect error. Does the search not allow wildcards though?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Single word term searches hang the servers, since they can concievably be too common a term (Say someone decided to to a search for the word, "Too", as an example, for some reason). The terms are global in setting and to set up a list of single term searches that would be effective would require a lot more resources and time than we have, so we have just had to eliminate the single word search option as a necessity to keep the servers up and running. Infinite result searches can slow the network to the point of unusability.
