chopper/cruiser/lowrider section?
How about a chopper/cruiser/lowrider section. I've got a couple of bikes I've built up and I'm sure others do to.

I really like this site.
My bro's got $$$$ of Columbus and is going to weld up some pro choppers.
Not sure of the interest on the forums.

I agree the Chopper/Lowrider/Cruiser "thing" is growing fast. I suggest having the forum having a main heading for the followers and those interested. By the way , that link is awesome. I WOULD like to
be riding that bike. WOW.

I love the looks of those bikes!
For now, there hasn't been a lot of mention of those types of bikes (I think we've only had two mentions of chopper bikes). I think it may be best to use the Classics and Vintage area of the forum for discussions on these types of bikes. If we do notice there is a big increase in people talking about these bikes consistently, we would definitely be looking to add a forum for it. Perhaps you could start a poll and see how many people have those types of bikes or are interested in talking about those types of bikes? If we can see enough interest generated, there would be an obvious need to add that new forum into the fold.

Isn't that "Alt Bike Culture"? The description says
Chopped, dropped, stretched, lifted, and otherwise cut up and put back together. The art and science of choppers, cruisers, lowriders and the vast world of mutant bicycles.

Yes, indeed. Alt Bike, because it's much broader the the OP asserts and they tend to influence each other quite happily. Some of what is classified by the member falls under the term 'rat rod' even if I've never really figured if it's a movement, a term for eBayers to abuse or both

Oops, I didn't realize that this thread originated in '04. Maybe something I should check more often. I just usually read the postings in a thread when the "new" icon appears.
