I don't have problem with swearing. I think the F-word is the most versatile word in the english language. I love it and use it liberally. If you can't say F*** on the internet, then where can you say it?
One thing I find offensive is violent, gun-related avatars/ signatures. Highly disturbing. Its really unecessary to promote violence on a cycling forum and I have no idea why people feel the need to create their identity around something so hateful and nasty. Frankly, I suspect that those who have them are compensating for something. I'm not suggesting it be banned, just saying it is far more offensive than swearing.
