Painting Question??
Actually a clear coat question. How log after spraying CC can helicopter tape be installed?

Well, the paint needs to be dry
One would hope that the paint would offer it's version of dry/cure time. But in real life hard/dry paint state depends on various factors like the type of paint, whether any additives were added to the paint (like reducers or activators), the temp of the paint and of the place it is drying within.
I would try to keep the frame as warm (not hot) as possible for as long as the directions suggest then test on a drop out face the paint's impressionability with your finger nail. As long as the paint is hard to your pressure and you've allowed as long as the paint says to you should be fine. Andy.
