John- Thanks. I think you know how the evolution of a seed idea can go. For years I have been thinking of a lug that would look like a fillet... Don't ask why that initial idea was my many year dream. As time and experience continued I shifted to a mini lug look. Mixed in was the desire to play with making my own lugs. Last summer things started to move to the front burner. Even still the final results were not fully envisioned. By now the rounded and softer joint look had grabbed me, again don't ask why except that I can be rather contrarian at times ( I once posted, years ago, why sharp edges and corners were considered the highest pro look. the replies were along the lines of "because that's what we do"). So this lug set and crown&shell are my attempt to get this out of my mind. These creations sure took a lot of time although the light bulbs going on over the head continued to make it worth it.

Remember the Coppertone sun tan lotion of years past? Maybe that was also in the vault of my mind. Bikini lugs let me see more butts. Andy (trying to be funny but likely falling on my face, in the sand)
