What's this frame
Hi guys,
I am building a fixie using this frame I had lying around from a previous buy.
It was repainted be the previous owner.
Can anyone ID it somehow? It says gipiemme on the dropout btw. There's also a tiny BCM mark on the frame.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.
I don't see anything particularly distinctive about the frame. Is the bottom bracket Italian thread? If so, perhaps a contract-built frame that could have been branded for any of a number of companies.

The best chance is the serial number. But who to ask, where to search, for a serial number not yet assigned to a brand? "BCM" is the initials for Bocoma, a manufacturer of lugs and BB shells used by dozens of bike brands. I suspect this frame is from the 1970s to early 1980s. Andy
