Surly LHT from the trash… can it be saved?

Framebuilders Thinking about a custom frame? Lugged vs Fillet Brazed. Different Frame materials? Newvex or Pacenti Lugs? why get a custom Road, Mountain, or Track Frame? Got a question about framebuilding? Lets discuss framebuilding at it's finest.

Thanks, I really appreciate the offer, I’m just seeing this weeks later. The frame is long gone and it was probably in my best interest to let it go anyway.

Try to contact surly and ask if repair is possible, otherwise if you know a welder or frame builder in your area ,ask him if repair is possible. Try to know which steel is used first hand before asking.

There is no need to talk to Surly about anything, particularly since OP got rid of the frame.
