Oxy/Propane Setup question?
So not pertaining to frame building but plumbing! I may need to do some repiping on my boiler. 11/4" copper pipes. Mapp doesn't really do it unless you have 2 touches going. So I was thinking of using my oxy/propane. Thoughts??

Oxy acetylene on plumbing is really where higher heat is needed, the original brazing done in Silver.
oxy propane is the next down, then Mapp gas, then propane ( for use with lead/tin soldier )
access and heat protection of adjacent parts is of course a concern.
my plumber decades ago used Mapp gas and silver. He also had a water spray bottle incase he ignited the wood studs, which he did twice.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.
Make sure you have ventilation if you're using propane in a basement. Unlike acetylene, which is less dense than air and will dissipate unburned fuel, propane is denser than air and unburned fuel will settle in low places where it can be an explosion hazard.

I'm still safe! Yea,I don't check regularly because I need to disable the VPN every time to use this site. It's a real pain.

I am deep into exploring all different boilers for our radiant floor heat system. Bicycles are so much more fun and simple!
