In the Bicycle Mechanic forum I was asking about a HT reamer. So as 2 am searching around I came across a German brand ,Cycles. Anyone familiar with this brand of tools?

I assume he's talking about Cyclus. Or Cyclo
I was hoping he would find cutters for the bicycle research because I could use a reamer for mine

Cyclus is a reputable company. I believe the shafts on the cutting tools follow Campagnolo's specs, and thus won't fit on VAR, Park, or Bicycle Research handles.

I have a few Cyclus tools and have been happy with them. Their cutters, that I know of, fit the Campy handles, as John said. Andy

Mine are all Cyclus. They seem to be a bit cheaper than the Park ones. They work just fine and seem to be high quality.

The only Cyclus tool I have used is the deluxe bb shell facing/threading tool Run the tap in, unlatch the tap from the facing part and go to town facing. I'm a bit spoiled by that thing.

I have the Cyclus BB facer but a pair of much cheaper taps which I had to make a tap wrench for. But they work just fine.

This! When I took the Eisentraut building class (Rutland, VT 1979) he used VAR BB cutters that did the same. The taps doubled as the pilot aligning guides for the facing step. Andy

We have 3 sets of BB taps,English, in the shop. These are individual taps that are used with a ttap wrench. Not the setup where both taps are on a centering spindle. We also have the VAR BB facing tool.
