Adding Split Cable Stops

EDIT: does somebody have a set of split cable stops that they would be willing to sell me. Nova wants 10 bucks to ship 50 cents worth of stops

I am about to have a lot of downtime and I would like to replace the cable guides (3) with some split cable stops (2). I read the thread about using MAPP gas to remove the old guides but I'm not really sure how to go about putting the new stops on. How do I position them pre brazing and also would it be ok to use silver solder paste?
