How is carbon attached to aluminium?
How is this done on bikes such as the 2008 Specialized Allez Elite which has an aluminium frame and carbon seat stays? What is the nature of the connections where the carbon meets the aluminium? How does the strength of these connections compare to aluminium-aluminium welds?

it's so strong, you'd have to damage either the aluminum, or the CF to break the bond. (IF properly prepped, and cured)
I'd say it's just about as strong as an aluminum/aluminum weld, maybe even stronger due to the inherent flexibility of the epoxy.
