Wondering what are some preferred methods and materials.

Braze, then mask before painting?

Epoxy after paint?

I was thinking about using brass because I like the color and can get it at the local hardware store. Can I silver braze it to the head tube? Is there a better material to use?

BTW, I don't want to use rivets.

Also, planning on having the frame powder coated.

use screws?

epoxy after paint doesn't appeal to me. Check with your powder coater about masking. That should be fairly common
