Thanks!
Just a note of thanks to all the helpful and inspirational folks on this forum.
After an extensive period of planning and scheming, I finally made the first cuts on what will be my first frame. With all the competing priorities of life, it will likely take another six months to finish, but I'm still pretty excited.
Thanks for sharing your passion.
Cheers,
Neil

I'd like to second this. I'm a little further down the road than you, having just completed my first build. The knowledge garnered from reading this forum has been invaluable - heaven only knows what sort of a pickle I'd have got myself into without it.
I'll also second unterhusens comment - don't let the inevitable bouts of frustration get the better of you.
