Free CAD program

For those who are not aware DoubleCad XT is a free cad program. I ran across it awhile back, there is definitely a learning curve but it is handy and fun to use. Free!! It can be a little unstable if you do things you aren't suppose to , they are still working the bugs out of it . Also they have a forum which helps with questions/problems you may encounter.

Testing to see if I can attach cad file. Ok cool I can if saved as a gif file. I was thinking this might work out to be slick if people could draw stuff up and post. So this is just a basic layout I was fooling around with.

For those who are interested in learning the very basics I can help a little. I've always been a pencil and paper kind of guy but since becoming computer literate 3 years ago I am trying to learn some things.
