Vintage Asian Bicycle before and after restoration

I bought this rust-bucket a dozen years ago, and just got around to restoring it. I know, what was I thinking!
The bike is adorned with "K" or "KRN" on virtually every piece. One badge reads KOSYUYA WORKS. It has complex brake linkage, and a drum brake. I got everything working, and actually rode it this morning.
I'm reaching out hoping someone will recognize this bike, and be able to provide more information. It appears to be a high-quality machine. Any info would be appreciated
