The finish on this thing is so good that the tubes were slipping in my hand as I loaded the bike into the back of my car. It will get polished and waxed (along with a full teardown and refurbish), but it barely even needs it.

I'll check the chain, but I doubt there's any measurable wear. I've been putting new chains on these bikes, simply because I think they're better. If this one isn't special ... I'll shelve it and go with new.
