Simplex Prestige vs Criterium

There seems to be some ambiguity about the differences between the c60s-70s Simplex Prestige and Criterium RDs. Not least because the 1971 Simplex catalog labels them both as model #637! So here are pics of what I *think* are a Prestige with claw hanger (from a c.1970 Follis) and a Criterium, dated 1/72, which was on a PX-10. The PO of that PX-10 said that the original RD had broken and he replaced it with this one, which he bought NOS; he said it was an exact match. Note that the delrin parts on both seem to be identical, and they *both* are stamped 'Prestige' on the back though only the Criterium's back is shown. Read more »
