Generally mountain bikes don't hold a lot of value and an older city bike has even less appeal. The good thing is your in a college town so prices overall for used may be higher. If it is super clean I'd post on Craigslist for $125 but expect to end up with $75ish. Wiping down the frame fork and wheels with some leamon pledge will make it shine and give it more curb appeal.
