After about 15 miles, the plastic strap on my Sidi shoe snapped for no apparent reason while I was stopped at a regroup. Good thing I had an extra toe strap (was holding a spare tubular) that saved the day.

I’m glad the Campagnolo FD is able to handle the drop from 50-44-28. I only get a slight rub on the FD cage when in the small ring and in the bottom two cogs—where I don’t plan to be very often.
