At the end of the trail, we passed under this locked gate. 5 locks seemed overkill. Glad we didn’t have a run-in with the property owner.

We had to take a detour which led us across the highway and to a dead end. We could either turn back, attempt to ride illegally on a stretch of busy highway, or trespass on a private trail for a couple miles to get back on the road that was blocked by the rattlesnake sign. That’s what we did.
