Cleaning exposed the bronze at the joints. Not sure why the paint is more vulnerable there, but it looks kind of cool to highlight the workmanship.

If an E10 LED fits, shouldn't I just do that? The rear lamp was trashed when I got the bike, so for now I've just tucked the wire away behind the bracket.

How do people position these shifters? The engraving seems to assume it will sit upside down from this. Also, this is set up for 3 or 4 speeds, so I'm not sure what position to use as 2 when setting it up.
