Helmet cap visor?

I have started biking to and from school recently. The summer sun is a pain though. Even with 45spf sunscreen I feel my face burning a bit after the ride. I wonder if a cap visor that fits on helmet will help? Any suggestions?

Wear a lightweight baseball-type cap underneath your helmet.

Never used it myself. I had a visor that wasn't big enough for a recumbent, so I made a bigger one out of a plastic folder and put it on with zip ties.

You could try a cycling cap under the helmet... It's what I do.

I have Da Brim mounted on my helmet and it's a permanent part of my riding kit. I like it because it shades your face, your ears, your neck and your eyes, whereas a ball cap or riding cap only shades your face and eyes.

They make 2 models and I've had both. The "big" one was prone to flapping in cross winds when traveling fast. I then got their smaller version and it's a winner. It is permanently on my helmet.

Golfing, running visor under helmet or Velcro on outside. Very light weight and no vent blockage.

Helmets for MTB users often include a Visor on them.

Here's what I use. Looks silly but works great!

+1 DA Brim. Not good in high gusting winds though.Even sport model is not to be worn in those conditions.
