What time do you generally go riding?
I ask because I usually see everyone else cycling at what I think are odd times (work hours, dinner time, etc.). I do most of my riding at around 7 or 8 PM, just before sunset.

I start my rides as early in the morning as I can, maybe 7 am, and try to get 50 miles in by lunch.

During the week 2:45 if I ride from work, or 3:30 if I ride from home. On Saturdays 11:00am and Sunday 12:30.

10:00 to 11:00 am unless something comes up to divert me to a different time. Sometimes on Sat/Sun I'll do earlier to avoid the folks who still have to work for a living out and about weekend crowd. I'd rather not be old, but old and retired does have some benefits.

I tend to ride in the mid-afternoons or in the evenings after traffic has had a chance to die down.

6:30 am and 5:30 pm most weekdays. Weekends it depends on whether I'm racing or not.

On the road by 7am, or I don't even bother. If I plan on riding more than 30 miles, I try to bw rolling by 6:30am. This is sunny socal -- it can be in the 90s by 8:30 in the morning, and stay there until well after dark.

I am retired and I vary my riding times based largely of weather and temperature. Tomorrow it is suppose to be warm but rain in late afternoon. So I will ride after breakfast and should have plenty of time before the rain.

Between 8 and 9 am in the summer, a little later in spring and fall. My body doesn't want to ride in the late afternoon/evening.

'Back in the day' (when I was in college) I was in the Honors program where I had 'priority scheduling' for classes, so I purposely scheduled my classes for 8, 9, 10, and 11 so I was done by noon every day except on 'lab day' (which I scheduled for thursday afternoons). I'd ride all afternoon, come back to Campus for dinner and then ride some more in the evening. I was getting in almost 100 miles/day five days/week. Or now 40 years later I try to commute to work two-or-three days/week (25-miles round trip) between the house duties and 'Honey-dos' aka 'the joys of home ownership...' I don't ride much other than that these days because of those limitations... Dammit!!!

If I'm riding a long distance, I'll start early in the morning.
If I'm going out for an evening ride, it will often be before dinner, maybe around 6 pm.
Sometimes we'll ride after dinner when you do.

Within 2 or 3 hours of sunset most of the time, even in summer. I hate morning cycling, just more muggy even if the temps are cooler.

Before and after work, you know, commuting by bike. Weekend will see mt biking, summer usually earlier for longer rides and cooler temps. Winter, later in the day for warmer temps and more daylight. Shopping trips and errands, when I need to go to the store.

During the work week, when I am home, I ride at 4:00 a.m. generally for about two hours. I may ride again after work before dinner. When I am away from home at my other office I ride after the work day around 5:30 p.m. Weekends are usually in the late afternoon, depending on family obligations, lawn work etc.

Pretty much everyday between 11AM - 1PM. I cut my ride short and start heading back home should I be out far away and I notice my camelbak is starting to get low.

Didn't really like having to get up to commute. Don't like any exercise (run, bike, whatever) in the morning. Now retired ride in afternoons. Before that in the evening. Now that I'm back in HI, it gets dark fairly early so I pretty much need to be out by 3:00 pm.
